Metallic And Bronze

I'm inlove with these shoes from J. Crew. I am so tempted to order online and have it shipped here in Cambodia. I just have a couple of problems: delivery here in Phnom Penh is so unreliable and the shoes' price aren't exactly pocket-friendly.

My last online order (from Asos) did not arrive. I emailed them about the problem and they replaced it right away. The problem was it still did not arrive. When I told Asos, they were kind enough to refund my entire order.

Delivery without tracking number is still a matter of luck and guess work here Cambodia. I think I'd be more lucky toset up clamps by myself than to receive international orders again.

Anyway, here are the shoes I am talking about:

J. Crew Viv Metallic Flats
$188 - if shipped within US
$253.80 - if shipped to Cambodia plus shipping fee ($30) and taxes

J. Crew Viv Patent Flats Bronzed Clay
$188 - if shipped within US
$253.80 - if shipped to Cambodia plus shipping fee ($30) and taxes

Dear J. Crew, why do you have different prices for US and international destination? Your prices are already expensive. Why make it more unaffordable to your international clients?

Blessing in Disguise

My last post was about being unlucky shopping in Singapore. I am not sure if my husband read that post before he gifted me with a trip to Bangkok over the weekend.

He told me it's his advanced mother's day gift, that I had to go on my own, enjoy my time and go shopping to my heart's content. And oh, told me to Compare Avira Internet Security while I have the time. I was reluctant to go at first but at the last minute I took it.

So when I was in Bangkok, the first store I went to was Zara. I looked again for this dress:

{Zara Printed Dress}

It's not available! The staff at Zara Siam Paragon told me, they sold the last piece the day before. Ugh! I also checked the Zara at Central World but same thing. It's not available.

While looking at other clothes, I saw this dress. It looks almost the same as the one above. I tried it on and I fell in love. I asked if they have a new stock for small size but they say it was the last piece. I bought it anyway.

{Zara Floral Printed Dress}

I tried it on again at home and I am beginning to think this dress is more beautiful than the elusive one. I guess this is what you call a blessing in disguise. I bought the prettier dress instead.

Not My Lucky Day

I went to Singapore. I went to 3 different Zara stores and I couldn't find this dress. Actually, it's not available in the stores I went to. Maybe not yet.

I love you! Buy why are you so elusive to me? So, instead I bought this green pencil skirt and this white tee.

I also bought this combination round neck tee. When I tried it on, it looked great on me. But when I wore it yesterday, it felt too short. I was too conscious of my tummy. LOL!

It probably wasn't our lucky day shopping because hubby also couldn't find some of the toyota parts he was looking for.

Oh well, that makes us even.

ZARA: Beautiful Shoes in Prints

I am loving ZARA's in-store products now. From their dresses to their shoes, they're just all beautiful! My previous post was about their printed dress. And now, here are my favorite shoes from them, all in prints.

{ZARA Printed Fabric Slipper}

{ZARA Pointed Slipper}

{ZARA Colored Sneaker}

To be honest, I used to shy away from prints. Most of my clothes and shoes are in solid basic colors - black, blue, red. Even my fly sheets are in solid colors as well.

But seeing ZARA's beautiful prints now changed my mind. I am definitely going to give prints a chance in my wardrobe. I can't wait to go shopping soon!

Zara Printed Dress

Love at first sight. That's how I felt when I saw this Zara dress in their website.

So pretty! I hope this is still available in any Zara Singapore when we go to Singapore next week. This is definitely the first item I am going to search for.
